Mission Statement
The Missio Dei Network exists to provide theological and contextual
materials and to foster learning communities that encourage, form and
equip mission leaders for missiological bridge-building in the 21st century.
Vision Statement
The mission of God is about...
...understanding God's mission for His created world, especially His mission
toward those made in His image;
...being God's instruments of love and hope and compassion in a world that is
confused, discouraged, and anxious about many, many things;
...laying solid Christological foundations and building relevant, missiological
bridges into this fragmented world so that the peoples of our planet might find
meaning, hope and salvation in Him;
...studying God's Word, studying the worldviews and cultures of the people
in our ministry context, and discerning and constructing bridges that
communicate the saving message of God's love and grace into the hearts and
minds of Christian and non-Christian people;
...being sent on the greatest mission known to humankind, a mission that
leads to a good and eternal place;
...going home!
